Frequently Asked Questions
Sampling & Development
What is the Sampling Process?
Our prototyping process is designed to give brands flexibility, control, and cost efficiency at every stage.
Option 1: Custom Development from Scratch
– USD 80–150 per style
– Fully refunded on a confirmed order of 300+ pcs for that style (effectively free)
– Includes pattern making, fitting, and full prototype development
– Certain bulk-only processes (e.g. special fabrics, custom dyeing, screen printing, or branded labels) may not be included at sampling stage
– Shipping costs are charged separately based on actual courier rates
Option 2: Multi-Style Development Savings
– Develop 5–9 styles → 10% discount
– Develop 10+ styles → 15% discount
With OLIVE FASHION, sampling is not a sunk cost. Every prototype is a step toward validating, refining, and scaling your brand.
What if I don't have a Tech Pack?
A tech pack is a set of technical specifications that guides garment production.
If you don’t have one, you may:
– Send a physical sample, or
– Provide clear front/back photos with close-up details
Our development team will review the references and advise on feasibility, construction, and improvements.
What happens if changes are needed after sampling?
Sampling is an iterative process. We support reasonable revisions during fit and development stages to ensure the final product meets your expectations before moving into bulk production.
